How do I link a personal card to my Forma account?

Linking a personal card to your Forma account allows you to cover Forma Card purchases that would exceed your account balance. Your backup card can also be used to cover ineligible expenses.

You can use the web or mobile app to link a personal card to your Forma account.

From the App

  1. Log into the Forma app on your mobile device.
  2. Select "Settings" in the bottom right corner.
  3. Select "Linked Accounts".
  4. Select "Payment Methods".
  5. Add your personal card details.

From the Web

  1. Log in to your Forma account.
  2. Select “View or edit profile” from the dropdown menu under your profile in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Linked Accounts” from the menu.                        
  4. In the "Credit or debit card" section, select "Link card." 
  5. Enter your credit card information and select “Save Changes”. NOTE: please do not link your Forma Card as a back up payment method.

Enable Additional Card Settings

Once your personal card is connected, you can:

  • Allow Forma to automatically charge your credit card up to $100 when a purchase costs more than your available balance.
  • Allow Forma to automatically charge your card for any ineligible transactions you make.

Add another personal card and choose a default card

You can add more than one personal credit card to your Forma account. Follow the steps below to link additional credit cards.

From the mobile app

  1. Log into the Forma app on your mobile device.
  2. Select "Settings" in the bottom right corner.
  3. Select "Linked Accounts".
  4. Select "Payment Methods".
  5. Select "Edit card"
  6. Select "Credit or Debit Card"
  7. Enter your personal card details > save
  8. Under "edit card" > "recent", you will see tiles for each saved card. Click the card you'd like to use as the default

From the Web

1. Under the “Credit or debit card” section, click “edit.”

2. On the "Credit card information” screen, click "Choose another way to pay."

3. Enter your credit card information and click "Save changes" when complete.

4. Your primary card is indicated with a check mark. To select another card as your primary card, click on the alternative card and save changes.
