Claims are reviewed within 2-3 business days after they’re submitted. You can check the status of your claims on the “Claims” page in your Forma account from the web or mobile app.
Claim statuses
Pending
The claim is being reviewed. Claims are usually pending for 2-3 business days after being submitted.
Approved
The claim has been approved and will be reimbursed via direct deposit to your linked bank account 5-7 business days after the claim is approved.
To learn more about linking your bank account, see How do I link my bank account for direct deposit reimbursements?
Rejected
The claim was rejected by the claims review team. Review the email from Forma or check the rejection reason on the claim details page of your Forma account for more details.
In Progress
When an expense is submitted that’s larger than your available balance, you’ll first be reimbursed the available balance in your account. Then, Forma will pull from your available balance whenever new funds are added to your account (through payroll or carryover) to pay toward this claim until the amount is paid off in full.
To learn more, see What does an "In Progress" claim mean?
Overpaid
If a reimbursed claim is later determined to be ineligible, it will be marked as overpaid and you’ll owe the reimbursed amount back to your account.
To learn more, see What is a balance due and how to offset it?
Reimbursed
When an approved claim is reimbursed, the claim will be marked as reimbursed. This status also appears when a claim is approved but used to offset a balance due. In this case you will not be reimbursed but will see this status displayed.
Completed
When an in progress claim is fully reimbursed, the claim will be marked as completed.
