This timeline refers to reimbursements for FSA, LPFSA, DCFSA, Parking, and Transit claims only. To learn more about employer-sponsored account reimbursements see When will I receive reimbursement for my employer-sponsored claims?
Once your eligible pre-tax claim is approved, you will receive your reimbursement via direct deposit within 5-7 business days. Forma does not issue paper checks for reimbursements.
To learn more about linking your account, see How do I link my bank account for direct deposit reimbursements?
If you've already submitted claims before linking your bank account, any pending reimbursements will be automatically processed once your account is linked. However, if you haven't filed any claims yet, you'll need to link your bank account before submitting any claims.
Forma processes all unpaid approved claims on Wednesdays and Fridays. Reimbursements are typically posted to your bank account within 5-7 business days from the initial processing, meaning you can expect them on the nearest Friday or Tuesday.
Example reimbursement timeline
The claim was approved on Thursday, but since no bank account was linked, the reimbursement process failed on Sunday due to the lack of an account for deposit.
On Monday, the bank account was successfully linked. As a result, the claim will be included in the reimbursement batch on Wednesday, and you can expect to receive the reimbursement on Friday.
