No, you can only spend up to your available account balance. To check your account balance in real time, log in to your Forma account on the web or on the app and select “Benefits”.
If your account doesn’t have enough money, there are two options:
- Ask the merchant to split the payment at the time of the transaction. For more information, refer to the article Will my Pre-tax Forma Card split a transaction between my pre-tax accounts?
- Pay for the expense out-of-pocket and submit a reimbursement claim to be reimbursed up the remaining balance in your account.
