Using your Forma account on web or mobile, you can establish recurring HSA investments. This feature allows you to automate ongoing HSA contributions, ensuring they continue without needing regular attention.
To set up recurring investments on the web, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Forma account
- Select ‘Benefits’ from the top navigation menu
- Choose your HSA
- Select “My Investments” from the horizontal menu above your available balance
- Click “Manage Investments” and select “Invest money”
- Next to “Automatic investment” click “Get started”
- When setting up an automatic investment, you will set your “sweep threshold”; this is the amount of cash you would like to keep in your HSA cash account. Any amount over that balance (and over the $100 minimum investment limit) will automatically be moved into investments each day.
- Choose the percentage allocation for each stock you want the funds to be automatically invested in.
- Confirm your sweep threshold
After setting up the recurring investment, you'll find it displayed on your HSA Investment page. Here, you can view details such as the balance to maintain (sweep threshold), the date of the last investment made, and the amount invested.
