Yes! Follow the steps below to upload an HSA receipt to your Forma account. Uploading receipts is a great way to keep records of your HSA-eligible purchases to prove that you spent your HSA money correctly.
Although medical receipts are not necessary to withdraw money from your HSA, if you are ever audited by the IRS, you will need to provide medical receipts corresponding to your withdrawals in order to ensure tax favorability of the plan.
- Log in to Forma
- Select “Benefits” from the menu at the top of the screen
- Select your HSA
- Open the “Manage HSA” dropdown and select “Upload a receipt”
- Enter the requested information and select “Save & continue”
- Confirm the details entered then click “Confirm & submit”
