All claims must be substantiated. Many, but not all, debit card transactions auto-substantiate, meaning you do not have to submit additional documentation for you claim to be approved. However, debit card claims that are not auto-substantiated require you to send additional documentation to approve the claim.
A card transaction status is pending if we can’t auto-verify that it’s eligible for your pre-tax benefits. In a pending state, the transaction amount has been paid to the merchant at the point-of-sale (POS), but requires further documentation for us to verify that the transaction was eligible.
You’ll receive a notification from Forma requesting that you need to upload a receipt from the transaction for us to review.
Do not submit the documents as a new reimbursement claim.
